Aluminium

There are basically two type main types of domestic aluminium frames. Frame-fix means that a timber sub-frame will be fitted to your brick opening and then the aluminium frames will be fitted to the timber. Direct fix means that your aluminium frames will be fitted direct to your brick openings.

They both have a tough, protective, polyester powder paint gloss finish which is guaranteed to maintain its good looks for years to come and only requires an occasional wash down. It is resistant to DIRECT FIX ALUMINIUM WINDOWpollution and the dirt and grime that
can discolour and stain many other types of windows.

Aluminium is naturally stronger and much more stable than other materials commonly used for windows and doors. They will not warp, rust or need painting and are particularly suitable for bay windows, doors and conservatories, where extremely strong sections are essential.

DIRECT FIX ALUMINIUM DOORThe strength of aluminium provides an extra level of security that you should demand from your new windows and doors. Aluminium is an ideal material for use in conjuction with multi point locking systems and because of its strength, windows and doors easily surpass the stringent weather and security tests.

Aluminium frames are available in a wide range of different powder paint colours, gleaming white high gloss, brown, black, silver, in fact over 500 different colours are available. As the paint is applied you could have a different colour externally and keep white internally.

Patio Doors

ALUMINIUM PATIO DOORThermal-break Aluminium is the perfect material for Patio Doors, they have been around since the 1970's and offer a very strong, sturdy, durable, long lasting and elegant door with slim profiles and excellant security.

They are available in a wide choice of colours and options of two to six sliding panels.

Being versatile they can be used as an external entrance to the garden in either Frame Fix or Direct Fix options or internally as a room divider.

Secondary Double Glazing

HORIZONTAL SLIDING SECONDARYIf you are unable to replace your existing windows but want to increase their thermal efficiency, noise insulation or just reduce draughts, then secondary double glazing is the option for you.

The white aluminium system comes in its own MDF outer frame which is either screwed direct to your window (face fix) or to your reveals (reveal fix), the options available are: Fixed panel, Lift out, Side hung, Top hung, 2 to 4 panel horizontal sliding and Vertical sliding.

These frames are also available as fly screens by replacing the glass with a mesh and are popular for use in cafes, hospitals, schools, hotels, pubs, restuarants and kitchens.
